Another image from Aditya Assarat's Phuket

South Korean actress Lim Soo Jung doesn't spend all her time in the short film Phuket being driven around in a limo by Sorapong Chatree. As you can see from this photo released on a couple of Korean-fan-oriented websites, she also spends time in a fishing boat.

Directed by award-winning Wonderful Town helmer Aditya Assarat, the short is produced as a tourism promotion for the southern Thailand resort island. Lim, best known for her role in I'm a Cyborg But That's OK and Tale of Two Sisters portrays a a famous Korean actress named Jin who is finding solace in Thailand as she develops a friendship with her hotel limo driver, played National Artist actor Sorapong.

Filming wrapped at the end of August and Aditya and his crew at Pop Pictures have been hustling the short through post-production.

The Nation had a story recently that says the short film had a budget of 5 million baht (about US$147,000) and is meant to bolster tourism and trade with South Korea. It will be previewed at some point somehow during the Pusan International Film Festival and screened on Thai International Airways and Korean Airlines flights, the story says.
